Is this any type of sleep disorder?

I don't have a job right now, and since I got hired at a new one and start in a few weeks, I'm trying to get back to normal time but can't. i've tried pulling all nighters and then going to sleep at a normal time but then i sleep 20 hours. then i try to go to bed at a normal time but then find myself not tired… then i'll stay up until 5am and then go to bed, and then can't sleep some more… then i say well maybe i'll try the all nighter again and then i would sleep 20 hours again… i've gone to sleep sometime after 5am sometimes and try to put the alarm going at 3pm but then subconciously put it off. then my bf comes home and gets angry that i've slept the day away… yet again…
is this a sleep disorder?
also, how do i get back to normal sleeping time?

  1. I have had a similar problem my whole life and the other day learned about Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrom. I do the same thing. Going to bed at midnight is like asking a normal person to go to bed at 5pm. and around 4 – 6 am is when I fall asleep. I am 34 now and I have just learned to deal with it.
  2. what ever your new work hours are start cleaning every thing in the house or do some yard work , walking or jogging if you work hard enough you will sleep, and get used to the new hours, sounds like you are lying around and worrying to much about it.
  3. take a weekend and do not go to sleep. pass out on the couch when you have exhausted yourself. but, make sure that you do this so that you will fall asleep at the time you should be sleeping. you should get back to your normal 6 to 8 hours.
  4. be self employed,
    or medication might help
  5. go to sleep every day at the same time, but never try to go to sleep when your not tires, so read a book before bedtime or take a hot bath or something that gets you sleepy…
but if you still cant get to sleep, lay in bed and be very still and quiet to try to listen to the outside noises and such, it gets you to sleep FAST.

and wake up at the exact same time, my mom has been doing that for about a half a year because she had to work, but now she gets up at that time by herself, shes simply not tired.

follow those instructions and youll be on track in about 2-5 days
